Workshop or Boot Camp fliers from previous years -- provide real-world examples of previous fundings

Dear Friends of NJAngels Networks:

We have four more events remaining this year (2005).  Just recently, the "Life Sciences and Nano-technology Boot Camp" professionals was a great event. The participants in our deal-scrubbing workshop at yesterdays July 27th Life Sciences + Nano Teams Boot Camp was productive and informative. We, the NJAngels at njangels.net, helped the experienced technical Entrepreneurs focus on their fundraising tactics.
The remaining Third Wednesday deal-scrubbing forums are on September 21, 2005, October 19, 2005, and November 16, 2005.  The end of the year event is on December 21, 2005, called "Stem Cells + Regenerative Medicines" to become VenturEngaged with promising Entrepreneurs and their technologies that provide them an unfair advantage in comparison to other like-product business.

What we call a VenturEvaluation is the listening, viewing, interaction with, and evaluation of the presenting "VenturEvaluatee" in order to help them pass "due diligence" through earning the feedback they deserve after presenting their company.  More information on the Venture Engagement process can be found here, at oncallcfo.com/pages/3/index.htm.

After registering for the event, we will ask you to submit a 100-word "intro-mercial" about yourself that we will include in everyone's Attendance Roster, a valuable resource for networking.

Also, our final line-up of "Life Sciences + Nano Teams" will be published for confirmed and registered Attendees.

VenturEvaluation  workshop

Hyatt,  New  Brunswick,  NJ

NEW  BRUNSWICK, NJ,  Dec 12, 2005--  Massachusetts-based company Total ReCord, Inc., an early stage company founded for the specific purpose of developing and commercializing new therapies for neurodegenerative diseases, plans to begin clinical trials in January 2006 with a new treatment for patients with spinal cord injuries. Total ReCord CEO & Founder, Jan-Eric Ahlfors presents latest achievements next week.

RMx  Total ReCord's lead product Regeneration Matrix, is a new non-cellular, biological product that promotes spinal cord regeneration and supports the development of cells, (such as stem cells), injected into the site of spinal cord injury.  The  RMx regenerative matrix is a new method of treatment for spinal cord injuries that has shown promising results in preclinical studies in animal models.

As  a  new  non-drug based class of  biotherapeutics,  RMx    draws on the body's regenerative processes to stimulate the growth of new central nervous system tissue.  RMx T, is an exciting  substitute  material  for  embryonic  stem  cells  that can be used for the treatment and repair of damaged spinal cord tissue.

Total ReCord has created RMx  based on the principal of suppressing certain wound healing processes that interfere with central nervous system (CNS) tissue regeneration, while enhancing the desirable traits of these processes.

RMx  first works to clean out the site of damage and allow for cell growth.  It then slows the growth of scar tissue that can inhibit the regeneration of surviving axons while simultaneously promoting new blood vessel formation.  Both of these processes are crucial for the formation of new, healthy CNS tissue.  After this new tissue is grown, it can be trained to function in the body to restore movement, even weight-bearing steps in patients with spinal cord injuries

In animal studies, animals that had experienced traumatic damage to their spinal cords and were initially completely paralyzed, were soon able to move about after treatment with RMx    In most cases, they were able to make weight-bearing steps.  Total ReCord is confident that the human implants that have been successfully used in their animal studies will be effective in treating patients with spinal cord injuries.

RMx  has also been found to have no toxic side-effects in animals.

Founder and CEO Jan-Eric Ahlfors, MS, MBA is hopeful that following the first phases of human clinical trials, RMx  will be placed on fast-track status for FDA approval and may soon be applied to conditions that have kept patients permanently wheelchair-bound for decades.  Total ReCord's innovations can potentially provide restored movement to victims of paralysis, stroke, and Multiple Sclerosis.

Total ReCord is raising $12mm of private equity, and pitching to the New Jersey Angels Networks on 12/21/05
